In order to carry out constructing ‘the 10--minute cultural circle’ and to improve the service network, Yuexiu Library has already built 9 street libraries, 15 community libraries, 30 outside-the-library circulations and 289 other cultural sharing areas (including streets, communities, schools, barracks etc.). The library also has already achieved the interlibrary loan service in parts of the branch libraries, which enriches the cultural life of the readers, such as community, army, office, enterprise, school and so on. Yuexiu Library has been assessed twice as an advanced unit built with Guangzhou military police by Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government, and it plays an important role in the construction of spiritual civilization in the region.

Located in one of the 2 Pavilion , Xihua Road, the Dongfeng Branch was founded on July 21th, 1997. It holds more than 3,000 books and 30 journals.

Located at No. 17 osmanthus of the small North Road, it holds more than 9,000 volumes and 60 journals.

Located at No. 182 in the small New Street, big New Road, Daxin Branch has more than 20,000 volumes and 30 journals.
